From traditional updos to contemporary styling, you’ll learn how to prepare, manage and style different hair types. Explore techniques including decorative plaiting, working with hairpieces and extensions, and positioning bridal accessories to complete each look.
Through step-by-step demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll develop your skills, express your creativity and build confidence in creating styles suited to your clients.
The course combines essential theory with practical training, with ongoing assessment to support your progress.

Practical Training
Build your confidence through step-by-step demonstrations followed by hands-on practice on a training head or model.
You’ll learn how to choose suitable products and tools, understand face shapes and adapt your styling to different hair types and occasions.
Practise each hairstyle with guidance and feedback, developing your preparation, sectioning and finishing techniques.
At the end of the course, you’ll be assessed on your ability to recreate the styles independently, using the appropriate tools and techniques.
